Managing, feeding, desexing community cats is of benefit

This post briefly summarises the overstated impact of domestic cats in Australia, and what does help in managing, feeding and sterilising domestic roaming cats to reduce impacts to wildlife in cities and towns, i.e. urban and peri urban areas. We rely on research, studies and reports from experts.

Invasive Species Council lobby group and cohorts continue to blur the lines between feral cat impacts and domestic cat impacts, In the past the ISC estimated numbers of native animals impacted by cats has been flawed and overestimated. The latter proven in questions of the old base data, from limited sources, layers of estimates which for the Sydney metropolitan area actually exceed the number of available native animals, animals impacted by a range of threats/ causes.
