This post is an update on previous work capturing and showing the trail of Invasive Species misleading information on cat impacts through to social media expressions of cat hater, and cruel harm to cats and their carers & rescuers.
The trail starts with overstated impacts due to flaws in the calculations of estimates for domestic cats, based on dated studies and largely feral cat studies.
The detailed examples were captured over a year ago. There will be further updates of example in the near future as this approach to demonising cats can also be found in ISC approaches to other animals, such as our Aussie brumbies.
